Groups, teams and SharePoint sites
Microsoft offers many interlinking ways of collaborating and sharing. If you create a Microsoft group or a new Teams group, an email address and a SharePoint site will be automatically created.
Naming your new team, group or site
Be concise when you name your new group. Include enough information to make it easily and uniquely identifiable, but no more than that. A personal SharePoint space should ideally include your name, not just “mysite”; “mylist”; or “private”. Any groups with “test” in the title will be deleted by Admin!
When a project ends – remove it
Help us to maintain some order in chaos by removing finished projects. Our shared space is not unlimited and it should be used for active projects and not as an archive. Move any documentation that should be kept to another storage option.
